Fruitfulness

When the heavens hold back rain due to change in season and drought comes upon a land, the fields and hills turn dull, patchy and brown. Vegetation shrinks in beauty assuming a pale green, rather than the luxuriant green that is always the delight of eyes and the soul.

Same way, when your soul and life are kept away from the refreshing I give, you turn pale, grumbling, depressed, unproductive and even sick. At this point you become irritable and your relationships hurt.

I do not enjoy my gardens this way. I do not want my garden pale, patchy and brown. I want my plantings evergreen. I want them lush, rich and luxuriant which are signs of life, the real life I give.

You are my planting, you are my garden, you are my orchard. I want you always green in my presence, so you will bring forth much fruits of your kind.

I want you bearing fruits. I want your fruits of love, joy, peace, goodness, patience, meekness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control to be so big and ripe for all to see and pluck from.

Increase your fruitfulness by drawing moisture from my Spirit in your spirit through thankfulness, meditation in my word and praying in the spirit. Draw moisture and watering from me through obedience. By so doing, you will be evergreen, bringing forth much fruit. This is pleasing to me that you be a green olive tree in the courts of your God.
