Wield not the sword lamely
Wield not the sword timidly
Let your swing be bold, let it be forceful
Let your swing be purposeful
Let the sword go forth in a blaze of glory
For my sword will not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the course for which I sent it. Therefore, give not a half measure when you aim a blow with the sword of the Spirit. You have in your hand the most active and dynamic weapon in all of existence.
It is MY sword; the sword of the LORD
It is the sword of the MIGHTY
It is the sword of the GREAT ONE
It is the sword of the Noble
It is the sword of the Brave
It is the sword of the LORD; the Captain of the host.
That is why I say; give not a half measure to your blow when you take a swing with the sword.
You must be skillful in the used of the sword.
Look unto me and learn of me. I lead the host of heaven as the King of Kings, bearing my name. The WORD OF GOD. In my mouth is a two edged sword with which I judge the nations.
David attempted to get into the battle with Saul’s armor and he was weighed down by them. He took them off and chose rather to get into the fight with faith in the Lord of the host of the armies of heaven. That’s unlike my armor. My sword turns feebleness to strength, fearfulness to bravery, and defeat to victory.
Awake, Oh sword of the LORD and make the little ones mighty. Make them sure footed on the way. Go forth Oh sword and bring forth eternal realities that have been ordained from the foundation of the world.
It is the day of the LORD your God. Shake up yourself; lay the sword on the yoke that has hindered you and it shall be broken. Lay the sword on the trunk of trees I have not planted and they shall come down. Lift the sword over nations for the burden of the Lord to be fulfilled. This shall be for glory and for judgment.
Withhold not. Bear not the sword in vain. Give no half measure to your swings, let the walls tumble. Let giants fall slain at your feet with your leg on their necks and your hands raised in praise to ME, the doer of the work.
